Financial institutions do not need another demo. They need a workflow that survives review.

Sellara’s September 20 homepage describes deployable AI agents for financial institutions. The mechanism is specific: a forward-deployed team identifies the first workflow, connects the systems a team already uses, applies validation rules, runs the workflow with monitoring and exception handling, and expands after the first process is validated.

## Buyer and workflow

The public page names booking, allocations, reconciliations, compliance logging, and reporting as examples. It also says agents can work from pasted or dropped inputs and integrate with Outlook, Bloomberg, and internal tools.

That makes the buyer decision a choice of first workflow, not a general AI transformation program. A finance or operations owner should identify one repeatable process where the input, approval, and output are already understood.

## First evaluation

Take one recurring workflow and define its evidence chain before a demo:

1. name the source systems and permitted inputs;
2. define the validation rules;
3. identify the approval owner;
4. specify the exception path; and
5. decide what audit record must remain after the run.

Then ask Sellara to show how the workflow handles a missing field, a conflicting source, and a human override. The page’s “deploy in weeks” and monitoring language are vendor positioning, not an independent timeline or reliability result.

## Security and availability boundary

Sellara’s privacy page describes the public site as a marketing page without user accounts or consumer services. That does not establish the controls for a financial institution’s connected systems or production data. Request the security, retention, access, and deployment terms before sharing records.

Pricing is not documented in the cited sources. The strongest public product claim is the sequence: identify, configure, then run and expand. A buyer should hold the first deployment to that sequence rather than accept a broad platform promise.
