What it does
The public documentation describes a simple path: describe the app, choose iPhone, Android or web, let Rork handle implementation and publishing, then use Rork Web for dashboards, portals and public sites on a custom domain. The public web page names Vite and React hosting and SSL for that web path.

Why it fits
Rork’s useful promise is removing the setup tax between an app idea and a first build. Its docs say the browser handles implementation, design, builds and publishing for native iPhone, native Android and web apps, so the buyer’s work moves toward product decisions instead of Xcode, Android tooling or a build pipeline. Rork Web narrows that promise to a concrete business use case: dashboards, client portals, admin tools and public sites built with Vite and React, hosted on a public URL and connected to a domain with SSL.
That makes the right evaluation question narrower than “can AI build my app?” A solo founder could test one small workflow, then inspect the generated app’s ownership, data model, export path and operational responsibilities. A team building a client portal should also separate the convenience of hosted publishing from the long-term question of who maintains the app when requirements stop fitting the guided path. The public pages show example sites and a company case study; they do not establish App Store approval, reliability or product-market fit.
