Mirai: interactive neighborhood experiences for property listings
Address-based, AI-generated neighborhood tours for agents, brokerages, and developers to show life beyond the property line.
Published · Updated
Mirai turns a property address into an interactive experience of the surrounding neighborhood. The buyer decision is whether agents, brokerages, or developers need to sell the life around a listing—not just the rooms, photos, and floor plan.
What it does
Mirai says buyers can explore streets, nearby places, everyday stops, and commute context through a guided neighborhood simulation powered by video generation and world models. A team enters an address, publishes the experience as a link, embeds it on a listing site, or shares it through a QR code (Mirai homepage; Speedrun profile).
| Fact | What the public sources say |
|---|---|
| Buyer | Real-estate agents, brokerages, developers, and listing or presentation teams |
| Input | A property or development address |
| Output | Interactive neighborhood tour covering streets, places, and commute context |
| Distribution | Link, listing embed, or QR code |
| Founders | Caleb Lo, Andrew Shum, and Joshua Zhang |
Why it fits
The product solves a specific presentation gap. A buyer can see the kitchen and virtual tour, but understanding a neighborhood usually means opening maps, reading reports, searching for places, and driving around. Mirai packages those questions into a branded experience that can be sent before a showing or used by a developer before construction is complete.
The tradeoff is trust in generated and changing place information. A buyer should resolve how locations, routes, travel times, imagery, accessibility, and neighborhood descriptions are sourced and refreshed; what a listing team can edit; and how the product avoids turning a creative experience into an inaccurate or exclusionary property claim. The public sources do not show pricing, independent buyer-conversion evidence, or detailed founder biographies.
The company is early: Speedrun lists three founders and the homepage leads to a demo rather than self-serve access. Its world-model framing is a product claim, not proof that a generated tour represents a neighborhood accurately.
Short version: Mirai is a compelling marketing layer for a developer or brokerage selling location as part of the property. Use it to enrich a listing, not to replace factual due diligence about a neighborhood.
