Laminar is for enterprise teams that need to change Salesforce and other business systems without losing the operational context, approvals and audit trail around each change. It combines implementation software with specialist delivery rather than selling a self-serve automation tool.

## What it does

The current site describes four layers: Laminar Shift maps processes and bottlenecks, Profile diagnoses system fidelity and risk, Flow routes and implements changes, and Ascent adds approvals, validation, audit and rollback controls. The platform creates a sandbox and branch for each work item, with a named person approving what reaches production. [Laminar homepage](https://www.laminar.com/)

The buyer value is continuity. Laminar says it maps from real delivery history, gives findings an evidence trail and pairs the platform with specialist “Fellows” who configure the systems from onboarding through go-live. It also advertises outcome-based pricing rather than seats or hours. The homepage reports 100-plus enterprise teams, 2,500-plus projects and one million hours of integration experience; those are company-published operating claims.

The public customer pages give concrete examples, including a 40% reduction in sales-call time at ACV Auctions and a support replatform for one million Whoop members in less than a quarter. These are company-published customer outcomes, not a guarantee for a new implementation. [Laminar customers](https://www.laminar.com/customers)

There is also a history that needs to be stated plainly. The YC launch snapshot for this company used the name SRE.ai and described Salesforce DevOps agents for CI/CD, testing and environment management. The current YC profile and current site use Laminar and describe a broader enterprise change platform. That looks like a product or positioning evolution; buyers should confirm which modules and commercial entity are in scope.

The [YC profile](https://www.ycombinator.com/companies/laminar-com) identifies Raj Kadiyala as formerly at Google/DeepMind and Edward Aryee as formerly at Google Research. That technical background supports the agentic-delivery ambition, not the customer outcome claims.

## My editorial take

I would consider Laminar when the cost of enterprise-system change is delay, undocumented dependency or failed release—not when a team only needs a small Salesforce script. The key diligence question is how outcome pricing, specialist labor and platform controls divide responsibility. Start with one system and one measurable change, and keep the named approval boundary intact.

## Quick facts

| Field | Sourced detail |
| --- | --- |
| Buyer | Enterprise IT, RevOps and business-system owners |
| Product | Process mapping, system diagnosis, governed implementation and delivery expertise |
| Commercial model | Outcome-priced is advertised; no standard public rate |
| Public proof | Company customer stories and operating figures |
| Main fit question | Is implementation risk, not software access, the constraint on change? |
