Getcho is a reliability layer for delivery operations, not another courier marketplace.

## What it does

Getcho describes itself as a local delivery platform for high-value goods and a reliability platform for brands, retailers, and 3PLs using third-party carriers ([YC profile](https://www.ycombinator.com/companies/getcho)). Its current site says it monitors deliveries, catches failures, coordinates drivers, handles claims, and gives operators visibility into cost and customer experience ([company site](https://getcho.app/)).

The buyer is not simply looking for a route planner. The buyer is managing the ugly middle: a wrong drop, a missing proof-of-delivery photo, an address that needs a particular entrance, or a carrier that keeps failing at one location ([delivery guide](https://getcho.app/guides/ship-from-store-guide/)).

## Where it fits

Getcho looks most useful when the business already has delivery volume and a carrier problem. The address-intelligence and delivery-forensics examples are practical: store the details that make one building different from another, compare proof-of-delivery evidence, and file a claim with the right packet attached.

The public customer stories are vendor-selected. They name Eataly Vino, Highline Commerce, Parsel, and Farm Link Hawai‘i and describe reliability, cost visibility, and fewer customer issues. Useful examples. Not a neutral benchmark.

There is a small but useful independent signal. The Google Play listing contains customer reviews that describe real-person communication and problem resolution. G2’s page is more cautious: one review is visible, but the platform says there are not enough reviews to provide buying insight. Keep both facts. The absence of volume is part of the buyer decision.

## Founder context and limits

The [YC profile](https://www.ycombinator.com/companies/getcho) says Jack, Evandro, and Mike previously ran a software firm and built logistics products, including a pig-tracking platform and catastrophe-insurance scheduling software. That background maps to messy physical operations and exception handling. It is a company-published origin story.

I would resolve the carrier boundary first. Does Getcho improve any carrier network, or is it strongest only in specific local-delivery patterns? Then ask how address intelligence is created, how claims are verified, and what the retailer must maintain.

Short version: shortlist Getcho if delivery failures, claims, and customer visibility are the problem. If the problem is fleet telematics, vehicle maintenance, or a full transportation-management system, this may be the wrong category.
