G LNK is a healthcare-intelligence and HCP-engagement platform for pharma and life-sciences teams. Its buyer is a commercial, medical-affairs or compliance team that needs to find the right clinicians, understand healthcare markets and document every engagement without stitching together databases, recruiters and spreadsheets.
What it does
The current G LNK site describes searchable HCP profiles, hospital and health-system data, Open Payments and fair-market-value benchmarks, medical-device utilization, prescribing and claims data. It says the database covers 9.2M-plus clinician profiles, 68K-plus institutions, $11B-plus tracked payments, 200K-plus devices and billions of claims; these are company-published coverage figures.
The YC launch describes a broader engagement workflow: identify a doctor, calculate compensation, contact the professional, track transfers of value and maintain country-specific codes of conduct. The current site lists a Health Explorer Subscription with 1,500 search credits per month and a Team plan with 2,000 credits per member; both are custom billed annually. No public price is shown.
Why I’d look closer
The advantage is joining discovery and compliance context. A commercial team can search by specialty, procedure, prescribing pattern or geography, while finance and compliance can inspect payments and fair-market-value assumptions. Founder context fits: Rayan Ghandour studied chemistry and economics and worked in pharma/life-sciences consulting at PwC; Raouf Abujaber brings multimodal ML research and a multidisciplinary science background.
The tradeoff is data provenance and responsibility. A larger HCP database is not automatically current, complete or permitted for every outreach use. Payment and fair-market-value recommendations also need jurisdiction-specific review, not a green badge from a model.
What I’d ask
Which sources update each profile and how are conflicts corrected? Can a compliance officer see the evidence behind a match, compensation suggestion and outreach record? How are consent, opt-outs and regional rules handled? What are the permitted uses of claims, Open Payments and contact data? Can the team export a complete audit trail?
My editorial take
Shortlist G LNK if pharma or healthcare commercial work is being slowed by fragmented HCP research and compliance review. Start with one therapeutic area and a controlled engagement workflow, then validate source freshness, permissions and fair-market-value logic with compliance. The platform’s value is traceable context, not a larger contact list alone.
