Elu: From a research finding to a proposed product fix
Elu connects product signals to a proposed fix instead of leaving teams inside a dashboard.

Elu connects product signals to a proposed fix instead of leaving teams inside a dashboard.
What it does
The homepage says Elu watches real user behavior, surfaces bugs and UX friction, and gives product teams a path to the fix. Its examples include a signup drop-off at a company-size field, with affected users and sessions shown alongside a finding. Elu says it can catch confusing flows, latency, silent failures, and behavioral issues; preview code changes; and connect the investigation to a shipped fix.
The integration list spans product and engineering tools including Jira, Supabase, Amplitude, Slack, Mixpanel, GitHub, Codex, PostHog, and Linear. That is the mechanism to evaluate: finding → evidence → cause hypothesis → code preview → human-approved change. The page does not establish churn reduction or autonomous remediation outcomes.
Buyer and task
The buyer is a product and engineering team that already has event data and session recordings but spends too long locating the problem and deciding what to change. Start with one known friction point, such as a signup field where the team can define the expected event sequence and the responsible code path.
Privacy is part of the implementation. Elu advertises PII masking, controls over what gets captured, and cloud, private, or fully on-premises deployment. Its privacy policy says it acts as a processor when handling a customer’s product data on the customer’s instructions. Those are useful boundaries to verify, not proof that sensitive sessions are safe by default.
The first test
Seed one known issue and one false lead. Check which events and sessions Elu joins, what evidence appears in the finding, how the cause is explained, and whether the proposed code change is reviewable before it ships. Then remove or mask a sensitive field and verify the captured record changes as expected.
The acceptance criterion is a reproducible path from observed behavior to a human-reviewed fix. A more attractive dashboard without that chain does not solve the investigation problem.
