Cignara gives enterprise contact centers voice and chat agents that take governed actions
Cignara combines voice and chat agents, human-assist copilot, conversation intelligence and policy-verified actions for large B2C customer operations.
Published · Updated
Cignara is for large B2C enterprises that want voice and chat agents to resolve customer issues, take system actions and identify revenue or retention moments. It is positioned as an enterprise contact-center layer, not a FAQ bot.
What it does
Cignara’s current site describes voice agents in 32-plus languages, action-oriented chat, a human-assist copilot, conversation intelligence and workflows that can refund, book, update, pay or cancel. The platform grounds responses in a knowledge base, applies business logic and policies, verifies the action and records the outcome. Cignara homepage
The use cases span retail, banking, insurance, telecom, healthcare, travel, logistics, real estate and SaaS. That breadth is useful for an enterprise with a fragmented contact center, but it also makes the integration boundary the real product question. A buyer needs to know which systems the agent can read and write, which actions require approval and how the same policy behaves across voice, chat and human-agent assist.
Cignara’s public pages say customer data can stay in the organization’s region and that conversations are not used to train models. They also advertise confidence scoring, citations, continuous evaluation and data-sovereignty controls. These are company statements; no security, privacy or workflow test was performed. The site does not publish standard pricing.
The YC profile identifies Nalin Gupta as a 2x YC founder and former self-driving-car founder at Auro Robotics. The launch positions Cignara as trusted by large B2C enterprises and names LG as a customer reference; those are company-reported signals.
My editorial take
I would evaluate Cignara for one high-volume customer journey where resolution and revenue can be measured together—such as order changes, claims status or plan support. Start with citations, human escalation and low-risk actions. Do not let a broad “revenue cycle” promise hide the need for exact policy, data and rollback controls.
