careCycle is an operating system and AI workforce for Medicare and ACA agencies. It fits an agency that needs more than a dialer: intake, member questions, post-enrollment follow-up, renewals and cross-sell work all need to live in one record with licensed humans taking the decisions that require them.

## What it does

[careCycle’s current site](https://carecycle.ai/) shows a unified system of record for customer campaigns, policies, calls and member status. Its AI employees handle welcome calls, check-ins, plan questions, speed-to-lead qualification and follow-up, then hand off to licensed agents when the conversation requires advice or enrollment action. The public API supports customers, policies, campaigns, sources, bulk Medicare/ACA syncs and vendor call transfers.

The buyer decision is whether the agency’s growth problem is post-sale capacity as much as new lead volume. careCycle positions the same member record across Sales, Retention and Revenue suites: qualify new leads, keep members engaged through the lifecycle and surface ancillary opportunities. The current site says the system includes SOC 2 Type 2 and HIPAA-compliant positioning and claims 4M calls, higher policy effectuation and lower acquisition cost. These are company-reported claims, not independent insurance outcomes.

Pricing is scoped around member volume, workflow complexity and rollout support rather than a public per-seat plan. That makes sense for a regulated agency, but the buyer should ask what is automated, what is escalated, how licensed-agent approval works, how CMS rules are updated and how member data is retained.

## Founder context and tradeoffs

The YC profile identifies Alex Doonanco as CEO, with prior voice-AI go-to-market experience, and Evan Roubekas as CTO, with software engineering and AI orchestration background. The team’s focus on Medicare-specific workflows is a stronger fit signal than a generic voice-agent pitch.

## Editorial take

I would shortlist careCycle for a Medicare or ACA agency with a large book, measurable churn and a human team spending too much time on repetitive calls. Start with one lifecycle moment, such as welcome and 30-day check-ins, and measure handoff quality—not just automated call volume.
